Valentines Day!

I LOVE Valentines Day! It is National Congenital Heart Defects Awareness Day, It is my Grandpa's birthday and it was my first date with Ryan 18 years ago. The last 5 years we have gone to St George and he has put up with me wanting to go to the Parade of Homes or antiquing. This year we went down again, did a little shopping and he surprised me with a diamond heart pendant. It is beautiful. It means so much more than just jewelry. With Thatcher going through his open heart surgery this past year, it is very healing to have that inner strength around my neck. We have been through a lot these past few years and this was a very sweet gesture from a man who has stood by me and has been my rock. Some disappointed us and some stepped up but we have always been there for each other. We have learned the true testament of love is when you would rather run away, but you dive in head first instead.
