POST OP! Post Op went really good! We don't have to go back up to PCMC for 4 months. Hoorah! Bonnie seems to really have a way with kids! Even the ones she pulls chest tubes out of and takes stitches out of and pokes and prods etc, etc, etc. Thatcher was wary of her holding him but Ryan snapped this just in time! She thinks he looks fab and so do we! What an absolute miracle that he is healing so well and has such a fun disposition. I have to tell you, his little personality has really changed. He is SOOO happy all the time. He giggles out loud all day and he has a way of telling you he is hungry or tired or bored that is very sweet. Maybe this was a good choice after all. Maybe he was so miserable before and we just didn't realize it. I still hope that we made the right decision and he will be happy with our choice. For now, I am just glad he is here with us.

Bonnie really is a sweetheart! That is such a darling picture! I wish we had gotten some pictures of Ryker with those who worked every day with him. That is awesome you could give him a full on bath! He really is such a little cutie!
