Thatchers Treehouse started as a way to keep friends and family informed of Thatcher's open heart surgery, progress and struggles with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect, or CHD. We are happy to report that he is doing very well and will continue to post about his medical situations when they arise. Thanks for coming to the Treehouse!

Owwwwww- cha!

So...it finally happened.
After all the ruff-housing...
the fourth boy finally took
one for the team. Yep......

He learned a new word....
"OWWWW-CHA!"
With his high pain tolerance,
I couldn't wait around and NOT
take him in to see if it was a broken
toe or something. But thankfully, on
Monday the radiologist called and said
he thought it was just a bad sprain.
WHEW!
Oh...and he never cried...just walked around limping.
Every once in a while he would sit down and rub his foot and say "Owwww-cha".
The doctor told us to keep him off of it for a few days.....UH huh, sure- keep a one year old OFF of his foot.... yeah, I see that happening.
