How cute is this guy? He is amazing. He is my hero. For two days now, he has shown us the boy he will be when he is well. We know we still have a long road ahead of us, but the sparkle in his eyes gets brighter each day. He is starting to giggle harder than he ever did before. Starting to learn something new every day, and we are starting to SPOIL HIM ROTTEN! (we are entitled, for a while) I am the luckiest mom alive to have four healthy boys and a healthy husband. We are so blessed. So grateful for all of the love and support from so many people. This journey has just been amazing for us. We have learned so much about ourselves and about each other. We have been shown love and support and gratitude from those that we know well and those that we hardly know. We have learned that even though we don't see family as often as we would like, they are still that- FAMILY and they love us. They share our fear, share our sadness, pray for our well being and fight for us from afar. We love you all. We are overwhelmed at the love and outpouring of support. We have had calls and e mails from Canada, South Carolina, Arizona, New Jersey, Texas, Philadelphia. We have had calls from family and friends we only see once a year, and family and friends that we see on a weekly basis. We have had prayer circles from several different religions. We are humbled. We promise to express this to Thatcher and to our other children so they may be aware of just how incredibly fortunate they are. God Bless.

You guys are the greateat. We are so glad that Thatcher is doing well at home, even though Teagan misses him as a roommate. I guess they can room up again at the U of U. But truely you guys inspire us, thanks for all the love you have shown us, it means a lot. This journey is longer and harder than I thought, but it is great to have friends like you to lean on.
Love, The Pettit's (Ryan, Brytten, Mason, & Teagan)

Such a handsome boy, just like his brothers! This website has been such a blessing so that we could keep updated on his progress.
We will keep all of you in our prayers and hope that his progress continues. Love, Lee and Susan
