Thatcher's Tree! Please spread the word!

The Christmas Spirit is alive and well in suburban Utah.
After I left the Festival yesterday, My friend Rae called.
Let me tell you how fantastic my friend Rae is.

Rae is struggling financially. She is also an A-ma-ZinG decorator. She has some extra decorations and thought she would use them to help someone else. She chose our family.

We have 21 days to come up with $2400 for our COBRA payment to keep our insurance another month. We do not have $20 dollars extra, let alone the full $2400. We need help and do not know where to turn. So Rae is putting the tree up for sale to the highest bidder (donation). All bids (donations) will be accepted, the highest will get the tree and it will be delivered next week. This is huge for us. It may not be the total amount we need, but it is a start!

She had originally wanted to put this tree in The Festival of Trees, but couldn't get it in and was discouraged that they were full, until she talked to our friends and they told her that maybe she should let Thatcher benefit from it.

I just want to publicly thank Rae for doing this. She is going through a very difficult divorce and is doing this for our family out of the goodness of her heart.

As hard as the last 4 years has been for us, we have always been able to come out on top of the stress, financial or otherwise, but this time is different. Time is running out.
